Project description
The project reimagines Taras Shevchenko’s image in a modern context, showing what his birthday might look like in independent Ukraine. The format combines live-action video and 3D graphics, creating a vivid and relevant cultural narrative in a VFX format.

Recreate one day from Taras Shevchenko’s life in the present time and show a modern celebration of his birthday.
Video shooting was carried out with Ukrainian restaurateur Yevhen Klopotenko. A realistic 3D model of Taras Shevchenko was created, and the actor’s animation was recorded using motion capture. In the final stage, the 3D model was composited into the video with synchronized movements and voiceover.
